The maxi dress is commonly linked with the Summer time and never recommended as something you’d wear in the Winter. But this isn’t the case. The key? Add them to your other Winter styles to give your outfit that extra edge. Pair it with your favourite knitwear and jeans and you won’t be disappointed. It would be such a shame to throw your maxi dresses to the back of the closet when they can be incorporated into so many different outfits in the Autumn. I am sure you’ve got some fantastic prints that would be great in the Autumn but it has never crossed your mind to team them up with some of the clothing you would normally wear when the Autumn swings by. 1. With statement boots
Team a polka-dot maxi with knee high two tone boots to channel your inner 70s chick. Team it with a glitzy clutch bag and wear it with a faux fur coat to finish the outfit out nicely. Nobody will be questioning you wearing a maxi dress in Autumn once they see this ensemble.
2. With a roll neck
A monotone, fine knit roll neck jumper under a bold floral-print dress is the coolest combination this season. Make it worthy of wearing in the evening by teaming the look up with some embroidered ankle boots and some statement jewellery.
3. With a pair of jeans
Street stylers of the world have been wearing there printed maxi dresses over the top of their jeans and it’s took the fashion world by storm. As London fashion week tends to be a bit chilly this was the perfect foil for the weather.
